Reliable machine produces average coffee

 

We saw this machine on Ebay and after a couple of goes we bought it for about $490 from someone in QLD. We fiddled with the grind and dose settings and tried to get a good strong brew with little success. Changing beans did not make much difference...

Cost effective, reliable no fuss.

A bit bulky. Makes average coffee (I think)

Terrible

 

BUYER BEWARE. If your machine dies after waranty, even if it is only just out, you are on your own. We even wonder if the "authorised" repairer Knew what a Gaggia machine was. Looking at buying another machine but will stay well clear of Gaggia and...

for the first 14 months it was great, but when it broke it was and is a dissaster.

Hard to clean and bulky. When it broke down we took it to the local repairer for a quote, $100, lasted 4 wks, again $100 didn't work once so were told buy a new machine, or pay for a new computer board and see if that works. NO WAY. CHUCK IT OUT.

Excellent

 

Love it its my best friend in the kitchen, especially when we have visitors. It makes a great coffee with quality crema and is so easy to use. Because the machine is such great value I can afford good quality beans.

For the cost of the machine it represents great value. Our family members are jealous as they have costly machines that don't grind the beans. Their machines cost over $2000.00 ours cost a fraction of that.

The water tank is not big enough, I get lazy as the machine does everything and I get used to being spoiled by Syncrony Logic.

Terrible

 

Do NOT under any circumstance buy one of these as it will only bring you grief. I have moved on to a semi automatic and do not regret the move and the extra money.

It made good coffee once you had the inside knowledge about how to make it work and keep it clean. The engineer at Gaggia was great.

It was basically rubbish and finally broke down with pump gone and the repair place said uneconomic to repair. This machine has single handedly destroyed the good name of Gaggia in coffee machines.

Overall it is a good coffee machine. We have had it for about 1 year and it works well with no problems. I would recomend it.

Makes nice coffee. Simple to use.

It's a bit bulky and not so modern looking. The 'cup warmer' does not have any heat at all.

Wish we had brought a different brand, VERY glad we had an extended Warranty as recommended by Salesman ( he must have Known Something )

When it is working makes good coffee at the press of a button

Very unreliable, third time back to be repaired in less than 3 years. Repairs can be lengthy if parts required from Eastern States

Terrible

 

I wish i never bought this thing, and I wonder why I replaced my ol' Breville! Italian brand....you would assume it would make good espresso, wouldn't you? Weak and horrible to drink! Don't buy this thing!

Easy to use

Makes dreadfully weak coffee! Een at maximum dose and minimum water, it's as weak as instant coffee!

Questa è un ottima macchina per il caffè.... il caffè come al bar (rende l'idea) Volevo acquistarla in quel periodo sembra che tutti la pensavano come me... sarà che il negozio fece proprio una promozione con un piccolo sconto e visto il prezzo...

ottimo caffè

 

E' facile da usare e utilizza sia il caffè in grani che quello macinato. Il piacere di avere a casa lo stesso gusto del caffè del bar! attualmente posseggo un altra macchina da caffè ma credo proprio che presto acquisteṛ questa fantastica macchina....
