If you want a stereo that will spend more time in a service centre workshop than your own home, this is the one. Inferior counterfeit/underrated components means a very short life-span of this appliance. Expensive and potentially dangerous in the long...

The MP3 3-disc changer is impressive, the coloured tone of the casing isn't too hideous to look at.. a budget priced twin cassette system with integrated digital FM/AM tuner and presets; when it works! (which isn't often)

So many PCB design faults, underrated/undervalued components, particularly in the power supply (and possibly the amplifier stage), this has obviously not been soak-tested to maximum capability for our existing voltage/climatic/operational conditions;...

Rubbish LG just rubbish dumping. Where do you get off pushing underated product with hazards like these into the Australian market

This LG product is junk. THe power supply is not properly design for long term use. It could be considered a hazard given the state of the power supply board. Just not good enough

Bad

 

Plays for a while then turns off. Unplug it, put it in another power point, turn it on and it works for a while. Can't just tune on and off - has to be another power point - weird!

LG should be ashamed of allowing people to purchase this product. It works for about 1 year, then breaks down, just out of warranty the first time in January 07, and LG were lovely enough to fix for me with no cost. But a year later, here I am with it...

The unit looks good. Flashy like any other brand at the moment

Built specificaly for robotic production with no service concideration allowed.
