The 17" iMac is the way to go, if you have the budget.

Spacious screen and deliciously quiet. Reliable

iLove this Computer!

 

I won't drone on with the specs because if you're reading this, you already know them. If you're thinking about switching from a PC to Mac, and you're nervous about the mHz speed, don't be. An 800 mHz iMac is about the same as a 1.6 gHz Pentium....

Cons: Too many. SDRAM, crapy video cards, slow hard drive, one button mouse, one drive bay, hassel to upgrade, slow processor

it works...and that's usually enough for me

 

I needed a new home computer, actually I need a home computer since I didn't have one and don' like using my work laptop for personal things.

small, good screen, works

one button mouse, short keyboard cord, need to get used to living with unix/OS-X
