Bose's QC35 II still have the edge for noise-cancellation, but the PSB M4U 8 are a sonic marvel by comparison

Incredible sound quality ; Supports Bluetooth aptX HD codec ; Transparency Mode is useful

ANC isn’t as good as the Bose QC35 ; Not particularly stylish ; Clamping force (on the original model)

The PSB M4U 8 headphones don’t provide the same level of active-noise cancellation as the Bose QC 35 , Sony WH-1000XM2 and the Nuraphone headphones ; they also don’t look or feel like premium headphones.

Superb sound and top-notch active noise cancellation make these wireless cans hard to beat.

Superb Bluetooth sound quality ; Excellent build quality ; Controls are laid out well and easy to operate by feel

ANC causes slightly bloated bass ; Somewhat anemic sound when unpowered ; Expensive

I’m deeply impressed with the PSB M4U 8. The Bluetooth sound quality is superb, and the ANC is exceptional, among the best I’ve ever heard. My only issue here is that the sound quality isn’t quite as good with ANC engaged, though I doubt anyone will...
