With an A Class energy efficiency further bolstered by an A-grade wash efficiency rating, the Hotpoint BHWD129 is a generally strong washer dryer combo machine.

Easy to use ; Cleans dishes well ; Range of wash programmes

Small capacity ; Noisy ; Long drying cycles

Sadly, the Hotpoint BHWD129 is noisy and suffers from the long drying cycles that most washer-dryers are plagued by. It also feels slightly poorly made with more attention needing to have been paid to the details.

8 years gone, still going strong

Dries fine

Contrary to the which review, I find it dries fine in 1.5 - 2 hrs. I use the "hanger" setting. Clothes come out very slightly damp, but hot, so within an hour in a wardrobe\cupboard, they've dried. It's started making a rattling\metallic sound lately...

perfectly good enough

Came with a fitted kitchen. Once got stuck on a programme but this was caused by a blockage. Just empty the filter and run empty on a super hot cycle with bio powder once a month. 9yo. When it breaks down will buy another
