Xiaomi 14 Ultra review

A few small but meaningful upgrades to the camera system, tweaks to the build and display, and the mandatory chipset refresh - we can't be mad at the...

Thoroughly great camera system, nearly flawless.

Pricey, even for what it is, with little hope for discounts down the line.

In the end, the Xiaomi 14 Ultra is quite probably the finest camera with a phone attached to it that you can buy today.

Sony Ericsson Satio (Idou) review

The Sony Ericsson Satio might have just been a concept phone at Mobile World Congress , but it's certainly real now. Available as an unlocked phone through SonyStyle, the Satio is billed as an entertainment phone, and it's certainly got the chops to...

The Sony Ericsson Satio rocks a 12.1-megapixel camera with advanced editing options and video recording. The Symbian-based phone offers 3G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and full e-mail support. The Walkman-style music player is also a nice bonus.

The Satio uses Sony Ericsson's proprietary port for the USB connector and headset. The Web browser is a little clunky to navigate, and the Symbian user interface has some inconsistencies.

The Sony Ericsson Satio packs in a lot of multimedia power, particularly in the camera department, but it also has a number of annoyances. You can get a better overall experience with other handsets and for a lot less.

Review: Sony Ericsson Satio

Well designed exterior keys, Good quality widescreen display, Packed with multimedia features, Impressive photos and high quality camera

Bulky design, Slow to start up and jerky user interface, Unresponsive resistive touchscreen, Lack of 3.5mm audio jack, Poor battery life, No HD video capture

In this brief review, we have highlighted the main features which we liked and felt could be made better in the Satio. While Sony Ericsson had intended the Satio to be a powerful entertainment smartphone, our review has found that there were areas...

Sony Ericsson Satio Review

So how does it compare to the Samsung Pixon12? Well that all comes down to personal preference. I thought the camera was nicer to use than on the Pixon and it felt more like a camera, where as the Samsung felt more like a phone. If I had to choose I...

Sony Ericsson Satio Review

Sony Ericsson themselves admit that the Satio isn’t finished yet, but, with a quarter still to run until it’s expected to hit the market, they have plenty of time to polish out the flaws.  The OS as a whole will hopefully be less prone to sluggishness,...
